With over 28-year experience in IT, 15 of which were at an executive level, which includes software development, enterprise architecture, process engineering and project management. Her executive leadership roles in IT involved digital transformation, IT Risk and Governance, IT operations and service management, in addition to, information security capability automation and optimisation. Her principal skills are business strategy, innovation, corporate and technology governance, process engineering, project management and business leadership. She is a recipient of the Inspiring Fifty Award in 2019 in recognition of the role she plays in uplifting others. She was also the Institute of IT Professionals Visionary Chief Information Officer Finalist for 2022 for demonstration of visionary leadership in using IT to grow and transform business, in addition to establishing best practices in implementing technology solutions. Portia holds a National Diploma(IT), BCom Degree(Informatics) and Masters Degree (IT). She completed two Leadership Development Programmes and has International Project Management and IT Governance certifications. She is currently a PhD candidate in Information Technology at the University of Pretoria.

CO-FOUNDER

With over 23 years of experience in the ICT environment, she has worked across multiple sectors, including public and private, in senior management, interim CIO, and consulting roles. She holds a Master's Degree in Information Technology (MIT) from the University of Pretoria (UP) and is currently a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of Johannesburg (UJ). Her research focus is Aviation cybersecurity, an area of particular interest sparked during her time heading the IT Planning and Governance unit at an aviation sector. In this role, Nombulelo managed a team of IT Security Specialists and was instrumental in developing the Cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, and awareness campaigns. Nombulelo's passion for ICT and cybersecurity has made her a respected thought leader. She is committed to delivering top-notch solutions to her clients, holistically integrating Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT Strategy and Governance, Systems Analysis and Development, and Business Process Management (BPM) best practices. Her innovative and effective solutions have helped organizations across various sectors achieve their IT goals while safeguarding their digital assets against cyber threats.
